United Way exists for one reason - to help us come together as one community to identify and address the issues that affect our citizens. Bryan County United Way builds on community strengths and assets. The agency encourages individuals and groups with specific community interests to contribute their time and talents, support direct-service programs, community-change efforts, and advocate for public policy changes. More than fundraisers, United Way partners in change, working with a broad range of people and organizations to identify and resolve pressing community issues.
In 1983 Bryan County United Way received tax-exempt status. The Board of Directors is governed by local business and community leaders. Thousands of our citizens have been assisted through the efforts of Bryan County United Way. Funds raised in our county, stay in our county.
